The Penticton Art Gallery (formerly the Art Gallery of the South Okanagan) is a registered not-for-profit, charitable organization. We acknowledge the support of the City of Penticton, the Province of British Columbia through the BC Arts Council and the Ministry of Community, Sport and Cultural Development as well as community arts councils, sponsorships, memberships and donations. The PAG is grateful for all donations to, and supporters of our development events including the Annual Art Auction, Kitchen Stove Film Series, the Soup Bowls Project and Treasures From the Attic.

Saturday and Sunday: noon - 5 pm.

Job Title: Creative Kids Program Assistant
June 10 – August 30, 2013
Monday to Friday ~ 35 hours weekly/ $11.50 per hour
The Penticton Art Gallery seeks an experienced, innovative, team-oriented and highly motivated Creative Kids Program Assistant who will be report to the Program Coordinator and the Director/ Curator in implementing the gallery’s summer education program. The first two weeks of employment include school tours and promotion while July and August will focus on facilitating a positive & dynamic summer art program.
We are looking for an individual with an interest and experience in arts education. As per granting requirements, applicants must be current students under 30 years of age. This position is conditional on receipt of federal summer employment funding.

Job Title: Gallery Assistant
June 13 – September 1, 2013
Thursday to Monday ~ 30 hours weekly/ $10.25 per hour
The Penticton Art Gallery seeks an experienced, innovative, team-oriented and highly motivated Gallery Assistant. The successful candidate will assist with our Creative Kids Summer Art program and work weekends on the reception desk. Our Summer Assistant will interact with the public and the participants in our Creative Kids summer program to ensure a positive, dynamic gallery experience.
We are looking for an individual with an interest in visual arts education. As per granting requirements, applicants must be current students under 30 years of age.
