Membership and Donation Policy

The Penticton Art Gallery endeavours to maintain and expand the interest and support of the public through a Member and Donor program.

 

Membership

Members of the gallery pay an annual subscription fee and receive benefits.

Benefits:

  • personalized membership card(s)
  • free admission to the gallery
  • free subscription to the Arts Letter (6 issues)
  • invitations to all gallery receptions and events
  • special discounts in the Gift Gallery 
  • preferred pricing for events, film series tickets and workshops
  • library privileges
  • voting privileges
  • Reciprocal membership Program

Rates:

Corporate $150.00 + HST = $168.00
Small Business (under 10 employees $90.00 + HST = $100.80
Individual $30.00 + HST = $33.60
Family/Dual $45.00 + HST = $50.40
Senior Individual (60 years of age) $25.00 + HST = $28.00
Senior Couple $35.00 + HST = $39.20

 

 


 

Donations

Donors to the gallery contribute in addition to their membership fee. Donors of works of art will be given the same recognition and privileges as donors of cash.

Benefits (for donations over $50):

  • tax receipt for the donated amount
  • recognition in the appropriate category of the Arts Letter and on the Sustaining Supporters Wall  for one year
  • recognition in the gallery's annual report
  • invitation to the annual volunteer/ donor reception

 Donations to the gallery do not include membership privileges.

 

 


 

Gifts in Kind

Gifts in Kind are vital to the gallery and may include an exchange of goods and/or services.

Benefits: (Recognition for Gifts-in-Kind valued at $200 or greater)

  • recognition in the Gift in Kind category of the Arts Letter for one year
  • recognition in the gallery's annual report
  • recognition on the gallery's public donor boards

Gifts in Kind do not include membership privileges.
