“My earliest memory of art is drawing at my parents' art class and rendering a portrait of the instructor. He in turn drew a caricature of me on my paper. These drawings bring fond memories of artistic encouragement and in turn, have become a cherished piece in my collection. The love to create and learn has taken many avenues over the years, whether it was studying fine arts at college or attending workshops and classes as an adult learner. Exploring clay, fabric arts, collage, and utilizing different mediums to paint, I have always been interested in discovering and learning new techniques. While portraits and scenes from travels are the main focus of my current acrylic work, the love of colour is the primary theme throughout.”
