SPRING 2026 Series Here!

We are delighted to announce Season 3 of our Film Series. This season brings together powerful stories from around the world, immersing audiences in the cultural moments, relationships, and lived experiences of people across diverse communities. Featuring two award-winning selections from Cannes, along with recipients of Best Canadian Film at both TIFF and Cinefest, this season’s lineup promises to challenge, inform, and delight.

Film Series passes are currently on sale at the Penticton Art Gallery.  You can purchase your series pass online, at the Art Gallery or via phone(250)-493-2928.  Ticket prices are $65.00 for non-members and $55.00 for Members.  A separate email will be sent to all PAG Members with a discount code - so please renew your membership now.

This series of four unique films will feature at Landmark Cinemas on February 24, March 25, April 29, and May 27, 2026. Please note that some films may not be rated, and we recommend they be viewed by those aged 18 and older.

Passes for the series are available now. Individual tickets will be announced later. All ticket prices include taxes and fees, and tickets are non-refundable. Tickets purchased online can be picked up at the gallery.

  • From Acclaimed Iranian filmmaker Jafar Panahi,  this Cannes Palme d’Or-winning Iranian thriller about a former political prisoners who stumbles upon, then kidnaps, the man he believes tortured him in jail. It is a powerful condemnation of the Iranian political landscape. For speaking out, Panahi has faced long-standing restrictions, including imprisonment, from the Iranian government, and recently an arrest warrant was issued while he was abroad attending an international award ceremony.

  • Cannes Gran Prix winner, a critically acclaimed family drama about two sisters who reconnect with their estranged filmmaker father, while navigating generational trauma, grief, art and healing. This film includes mentions of suicide and mental health struggles. Viewer discretion is advised.

  • Celebrated Inuk director, Zacharias Kunuk (The Fast Runner) seamlessly blends the supernatural with Arctic realism in this tale of a young couple promised in marriage from birth. With arresting imagery, his trademark humour, and a cast of mostly non-professional actors, Kunuk has again created a world that not only builds upon Inuit stories and legends but works to preserve these reimagined stories for generations to come.

  • A Korean mother travels to Winnipeg after her daughter’s accident, and finds her world upended in unexpectedly funny and tender ways. A stylized, whimsical narrative of crossed wires, secret lives, and conflicting agendas. And if you were wondering about that Bear… well, you’ll just have to see the film.
