Creative kids
This weekly Summer Art Camp for 8 weeks, is for 6-8 year olds and 9-12 year olds. Students enjoy a balanced 3-hour program format with creative art activities in the studio and active, outdoor movement breaks and games.
8 different classes, running for 8 weeks and one can register for the whole 8 weeks as there will be a different class each week or choose a specific week to purchase.
Program Duration - 6 July 2026 to 28th August 2026 (Weekdays)

For 9 to 12 years
1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Confirmation of age is required on the first day of class
Waiver required for outside activities
Minimum number of students would have to be 6 for the class to run
Week 5 is a free class to sign-up for all age groups. Classes are held at 9 am to 12 pm and 1 pm to 4 pm. Having parent/guardian is a must for this class.. If the class is full, please call the Gallery to join the waitlist.
Week 1 (July 6-10): Zooming Through Space
Outer Space is our theme as we explore fun ways to create the illusion of space (depth, and perspective) on a 2-D surface and build aliens and rocket ships with 3-D materials.
Week 2 (July 13-17): Nature Prints & Patterns
Nature is the inspiration in this series as we explore texture as an element of art and design using a variety of materials and techniques. Every day is an adventure with hands-on discovery, sensory play and creative expression woven together.
Week 3 (July 20-24): Imagine and Re-Create
An exploration of creative building using everyday recyclable materials. Each day focuses on a theme, a hands-on project, and a playful imagination challenge that encourages kids to see “trash” as treasure.
Week 4 (July 27-31): Animals in the Spotlight
Explore the world of animals while learning how to create a FOCAL POINT. Each day brings a new animal theme and a new way to make artwork.
Week 5 (Aug 4-7): Design and Build Your Dreamboat: Family drop-in session. Daily drop-in rate: Free.
Kids and family members can design a boat from components provided. They can build them and paint them to play with at the beach.

Week 6 (Aug 10-14): Exploring Big Art Movements
Travel through time and imagination to explore five exciting art movements using hands-on projects, stories, and playful techniques.
Week 7 (Aug 17-21): Line Lab
Cartooning Adventures: See how artists use lines to bring cartoons to life. Kids explore how simple lines express movement, emotion, and personality to create their own characters.
Week 8 (Aug 24-28): Inspired by the Masters
A playful adventure exploring bright colors and bold lines—inspired by Matisse, Kandinsky, Klee, Pollock, and Warhol.
Master in The Making
This hands-on art class invites young artists to explore a wide range of materials and techniques in age-specific classes. Students will experiment with sculpture, watercolour, acrylic painting, drawing, cyanotypes, and mixed media while building new skills and confidence in their artistic expression. Each class encourages students to try new things and develop their own uniques ideas.
