Discover new techniques and build creative confidence in this registered 10-week art program for teens led by professional artists. Participants explore acrylics, watercolour, ink, collage, and textured mixed-media processes through guided demos and hands-on studio time. With personalized support and plenty of room for experimentation, young artists develop strong foundational skills and build a portfolio of expressive, contemporary works.
The classes will be led by local professional artist Ron Gladish in conjunction with another local artist, Kathleen Ainscough.
The classes run for 10 weeks, starting Tuesday, Oct 6, and ending Dec 8.
Oct 6, 13 & 20 classes will be Collage & Mixed Media
Oct 27, Nov 3 & 10 classes will be Find the Flowers: A new approach to to creating abstract floral painting.
Nov 17, 24, Dec 1 & 8 classes will be Upcycle Art: Creating art from recycled materials.
Hours: 3:00pm to 5:00 pm.
Cost: $200.00 for non-members and $180 for members.
