This summer tested our community in ways few of us anticipated. As the wildfire threatened the valley and evacuation orders sent neighbours from their homes, we watched Summerland and the surrounding region come together with remarkable resilience - opening doors, checking in on one another, and finding moments of connection even amid uncertainty. It's fitting, then, that Season 4 of the Film Series presents stories that speak directly to that same spirit. This four-film series explores the resilience of the human spirit in the face of hardship, grief, and moral compromise - themes that feel especially resonant as we move into the fall together.
The films will screen at Landmark Cinemas on September 30, October 28, November 25 and January 20, 2027. Please note that some films may not be rated, and we recommend they be viewed by those aged 18 and older.
Tickets for the full series are available for $65 for non-members and $55 for members. Individual tickets (on sale September 22) are priced at $18. All ticket prices include taxes and fees, and tickets are non-refundable.
