12 - 12:45pm Kiki the Eco Elf: Step inside the belly of a giant Haida Salmon classroom with Kiki the Eco Elf children's entertainer extraordinaire. With a myriad of colours surrounding you Kiki invites children and the young at heart to engage in imaginative interactive story-telling songs and dances. With positive messages of hope presence and gratitude Kiki weaves tales and shares multi-cultural stories from around the globe highlighting our interconnectedness and the need for action to protect the natural world.

1 - 1:45pm DREAMS IN SHADOW: Dream Shadow Puppet is a blend of disciplines including music visual media and theater. The work revolves around dreams as a third state of existence. It is aimed at a broad audience including children teenagers adults and seniors.  The main concept is to present abstract elements without a specific script encouraging the subjective interpretation of the audience.

11am - 11:45 - Andre Sutherland Begin The Man From Eldorado (poetry of Robert Service): It’s been many years since Andre Sutherland Begin rediscovered his love for poetry drama and storytelling - on route to becoming a staple in Penticton’s arts and culture scene. Now a member of the Federation of Canadian storytellers he’s entertained locals with dramatic poetry recitement for the better half of the decade following a return to English class in 2000 where he learned the works of U.K.-born poet Robert Service.

12 - 1pm Production and Performance tip for artists with Peter Mynett (working title): description coming, ideally would like a flip chart to use or a projector, possible?

1:15 - 2:15pm Learn to Belly Dance with Donnalee: Inspiring captivating and engaging. Donnalee discovered her love of dance in the Okanagan valley when at age 14 she took a belly dance class at her local community centre. dance classes became a way to connect with other women.  For Donnalee belly dance became a gateway to other dance cultures mainly fire dancing. Using Poi (balls on chains) swords staff fans and hula hoops she can make jaws drop as she weaves fire around her body.
